Knocked-Out Tooth – Adults: Carefully handle the tooth by the crown (white enamel top) and never the root. If possible, gently rinse the root under clean water but don't scrub it. Try to put it back in its place and call us right away. If you can’t place it back in the socket, either put it next to your (in your mouth) or in a container of cold milk. Call us right away and bring the tooth to your appointment.

Knocked-Out Tooth – Children: If the socket is bleeding, have your child bite on a clean piece of gauze, fabric, or paper towel. Put the tooth in a container of milk and call us right away.
